This week is all about bead embroidery! Today I am excited to share my conversation with bead embroidery artist the Lone Beader, aka. Diana Grygo. We discuss how to find shows for your bead art, trademarks, and her unique style of bead embroidery. We will also be giving away a copy of her Intro to Extreme Basic Bead Embroidery Tutorial. I hope you enjoy the interview!

Hi Mandi, Extreme Bead Embroidery would be a great addition to help me in my quest to be a great bead embroider. I feel that the perfect vehicle would be a space vehicle. The Enterprise NCC-1701 D to be exact. Or any of the Star Trek vehicles. Happy Beading.
I would love to see you bead a cruise ship. Think of all the possibilities!! A pool, people, and of course you could make it a cruise for dogs! lol!! I love the dog in the car in your Time Traveler Trilogy by the way!!! And I’d love to win your Extreme Bead Embroidery Tutorial!! Your work is amazing!!
Hi Mandi! I’m glad you interviewed LB, I’ve been following her work on the New York City piece the last few months and think that she is just awesome! Since I already purchased the tutorial a few months ago I won’t throw my name in the hat, but I think she should do a greyhound! LOL, I already suggested this on her Facebook page!
Any piece Diana does with animals would be a perfect project..perhaps, a beading of the AKC National Championship! With all the top dogs in the final class or even an agility class with dogs! Love Diana’s beaded animals and of course any other beading she does.
What a great and interesting podcast from Diana! Thanks so much, Mandi!!!
oops, in my comment I didn’t put a vehicle….what vehicle should Diana bead…how about a golf cart with a dog! We take our mandy (Bichon) on a golf cart ride every day during our winter in Florida. Everyone here who owns a dog does that…it’s a hoot to see the dogs sitting next to their ‘master’.
I have been following the LB for a while on FB..I am in awe of what she can do with beads and a needle!! I have been wanting the tutorial for a while now and would love to win that…I think that a black Limo with a couple of dogs peaking out from the windows and/or sunroof would be awesome!!
your work is very inspiring …the car of my dreams a corvette would love to win the book but im gonna try this someday soon with or without the book as iam a beader and have done …a form of this before…but ill keep hopin cuz your work is an inspiration
An original Volkswagon Super Beetle.
Thanks for the great suggestions so far! The Starship Enterprise was kind of already on my list.. A golf cart is a unique idea & I really love the idea of a limo full of beaded dogs! Can’t wait to hear more!
A “lelijke eend” Renault Citroën all beeded up would be fantastic as the next car.
Keep on beeding
Ardith
How about a TARDIS!
I can see “The Lone Beader” driving a VW Beetle (Herbie) (The Love Bead) a play on words. Beetle Bead VW car. The color of the car Red with black dots on the roof same as a Lady Bug…With gas prices, we need to save for our bead addiction. Groovy~

Do horses count as vehicles?? That’s my vote!
can’t you just see a mini cooper with a great dane head sticking out the top. Just brings smiles to your face.
I loved your second podcast! I was going to say VW Beetle, because that was my first car. I may have to try bead embroidery…hhmmmm…! I have a question that does not pertain to this per se… how do you keep yourself straight following a peyote stitch piece???!! My eyes go buggy trying to keep the pattern in line and I have ripped more than produced!! Ugh!!
Wow, what a fantastic beader you are!!! My brother is foud of Harley Davidsen Motorcycles. What about one of these, with a backdrop of an outdoor mountain scene. Say a windy road next to a beautiful river, with boulders in it and moss?
congrats, your work is amazing…hope your weekend is great!
enjoy *~*
OMG! How fabulous are those! Such talent! I would never be able to do that! My head would fall off! Great job!
Smiles,
Jen
I think a tall masted ship would be awesome! I live on the NC coast and love it when we get to see the ships come in.
