What do you think? Where do you get your inspiration? Do you sketch out your designs, or just start beading? Both? Please share with us in the comments!

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to you and Met, while working on a somewhat repetitive chevron chain :-)
As to inspiration~do I use sketches, or just play? Yes…and yes! :-) A little of both, depending on what I’m working on. I tend to sketch more for strung work (which almost always includes some beadweaving as well as the strung elements), and play more for bead-weaving.
And I also have a drawer full of components of various types that I will use at some time. :-)
I also was horrified when I saw that people were ripping out things! LOL

Lori, it makes me so happy to hear that you were beading while listening. That’s what I envisioned when I started the podcast :) I’m so glad you keep your various components without ripping, hehe. I use sketches too sometimes, but usually its because I’m working on something else and I get an idea. So I have to get it on paper before I forget about it! Thanks for sharing with us and I appreciate your comment :)
